Description

A new, rare and whimsical Hinoki for the miniature garden. Wonderful, wonderful structure, shape, color AND texture. Really slow-growing. It can easily look like a weeping giant Sequoia in the mini garden.

Named after the texture of the foliage: Chirimen is a dyed, crepe-like fabric used for making kimonos.

Winter Color: They have a slight amber blush for the winter, and the green appears to change to lovely green-blue color. The colors will change when the weather warms up.

Plants can hold onto their seed cones along the branches which may not look right but it’s how the plant grows. It will slough off with its ready to.
