For Miguel, there’s nothing better than singing and playing the guitar. He dreams of one day following in the footsteps of legendary musician Ernesto de la Cruz – but unfortunately music is forbidden in Miguel’s family. When he steals his role model’s guitar from a mausoleum on Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, something very strange happens: Miguel suddenly sees the dead who are visiting their families on earth that day. He follows his deceased relatives to the land of the dead, where he finally unveils a long-kept secret…
