Miniature Superfine Sand

Yes it is miniature sand for the mini garden. The play sand was just too big. You’re laughing, aren’t you?

Can you find clean, teeny miniature sand in downtown Manhattan? ;o)

Largest grain is about .25mm – in inches that’s really tiny. This is the good stuff, consistent in size and super clean. This sand is only available here in the Northwest and harvested from a receding glacier in the Cascade Mountain Range. Great for the miniature dollhouse or garden railroads, because the scale is so perfect.

After you stop laughing, add it to you cart – you’ll need it for your miniature beach scene.

HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED?

One ounce of sand equals about 1 square inch.

For a patio that is 4″ x 2″ –>  4 x 2 = 8 square inches. So you will need 8 ounces or 1/2 lb of sand. This is for a 1″ deep patio so if you don’t need it that deep, it will go a bit farther.
